LINCOLN COUNTY EMA PRESS RELEASE
Procedure for reporting damages from the January 9-10, 2024 Storm
Individuals, homeowners, small businesses, and agriculture are welcome to submit their
damages to the state, using the forms, etc. below:
Individuals & Households Initial Damage Assessment Survey (online survey): So we can capture damages successfully
Any and all inquiries and/or damage submissions from members of Maine’s fishing community should be
directed to: [email protected] This will serve as the intake resource for the 10 Jan
storm.
Business and Agriculture Initial Damage Assessment Survey (online form):
For business and agriculture damages, the only option is to fill out the online survey.
If you struggle with the forms or survey and need someone to do it for you, contact 211 Maine (just dial
211 from anywhere in Maine) and they will go through the questions with you and submit it for you.
Keep in mind that submitting a survey or a PDF form is NOT an application for assistance. There is no
guarantee any assistance will be available to you. The purpose of submitting your damages is to help the
state determine whether there are enough damages to seek a Federal disaster declaration.
Damages from the 1/9-10/2024 storm must be submitted by January 18 to be included in the totals for
determining whether the state has enough damages to get a FEMA disaster declaration.
