ACCESS TO VACCINATION:
VACCINATION ACCESS WHILE ON MONHEGAN
Due to limited vaccine supply, the State of Maine is asking that the public practice patience when trying to make appointments.
Individuals should plan to receive both first and second doses of vaccine (if applicable) from the same healthcare facility.
Please only sign up for vaccination with only one provider to do your part to maximize efficiency of the state's distribution system.
Individuals are encouraged to contact healthcare facilities offering vaccination in the mid-coast area rather than utilizing the services of more distant, remote facilities.
Be aware that Maine has had problems with phone scams related to vaccination (and contact tracing) - if you are called about a vaccination appointment (or contact tracing) and asked for your social security number, don't provide it, ask for the caller's phone number, hang up, and call the healthcare facility where you have been trying to schedule an appointment. Call the Maine CDC general number at: (207) 287-8016 if you have a concern about a contact tracing call you have received or a scam related to vaccination.
