Hi Monhegan Community-
This is your Island Fellow, Thomas McClellan. You may be aware that the Plantation will be repairing the breakwater after last winter’s storms. Additionally, the Plantation is pursuing funding opportunities to build a new wharf (in the same place as the current) and will be looking at potential options for bolstering the breakwater. These projects, funding, and construction are interconnected and will require community input about your usage and design in order to proceed.
If you would like to participate in this process, please take the time to respond to this survey. Your responses will be collected to inform future designs and a path forward.
