Job Opportunity: Wharf Monitor

Start/End Dates: Immediately (or as soon as available).

Tasks & Times: 

• Put out cones along the North side of the Wharf marking embarkation line for ferry services by 2pm
• Assure that passengers are lining up on the water side of the cones
• Manage the passenger line in a direct, but respectful way that ensures the safety of all passengers and that all vehicles can pass safely
• Ensure that private vehicles (e.g. golf carts/UTV’s) are not blocking both truck and passenger flow
• Assist the boat crews as needed in safely boarding passengers
• Hand off boat dock lines as needed

Schedule: 2 days per week (flexible) from 2pm to 4:30pm

Rate: $25/hour
